BASIC PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE WORKSHOP

Oklahoma State Association of Parliamentarians

Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16, 2008

 

For those of you interested, the Oklahoma State Association of Parliamentarians is providing an opportunity to learn more about parliamentary procedure and Robert's Rules of Order.  The OSAP is presenting a full-day workshop in Oklahoma City at the Clarion Meridian Hotel & Convention Center on Friday, August 15, and a half-day workshop on Saturday, August 16.

 

This workshop is designed to benefit leaders, officers, and members of all organizations, big and small. Professional Registered Parliamentarians (PRP) from the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) will be serving as presenters at the workshop sessions.

OKAPA Releases new Planning Commissioner Guide

The Oklahoma Chapter of the American Planning Association (OKAPA) is pleased to announce the publication of a training manual entitled Oklahoma Planning Commissioners Handbook

The document is the product of a statewide volunteer effort to provide the State's planning commissioners with up-to-date and pragmatic reference materials concerning the practice of land use planning in Oklahoma.
